  • Sep 6 2026 Regatta.lu 2026 Regatta.lu is a nautical event, a sporting competition at sea, listed in the official calendar of the Luxembourg Sailing Federation (FLV). It is organized by the Luxembourg Group for Cruising and Racing (GLCR) in close cooperation with the National Youth Service (SNJ) and under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of National Education. The regatta is run by a race committee of the Luxembourg Sailing Federation.
  • Sep 13 2026 Stage d'été en Bretagne 2026 Les stagiaires Permis Mer, Côtier plus, Avancé (level beginner) ou A-Mer peuvent s'inscrire en choisissant une demi-cabine pour le prix de 750 € ou bien une cabine (en occupation simple) pour le prix de 1250 €. Si le choix se porte pour une demi-cabine n'hésitez pas à communiquer via mail au responsable du stage avec qui vous souhaitiez partager votre cabine.  Pour occuper une cabine à deux personnes, les deux sont invités à s'incrire séparément pour une demi-cabine chacun. La majorité des places disponibles est réservée pour les candidats Permis Mer.
  • Sep 19 2026 Certificate A-Sea The course for the Certificate A – Sea, competent crew member, takes place “on board” cruising sailboats in Zeeland (NL), in Bruinisse. The theoretical program covers the following topics: sailing yacht terminology; true wind, points of sail in relation to the wind, setting the sails, mooring; tacking, gybing, safety measures, and behavior in harbors; propulsion, stability, sail trim, anchoring; life on board, knots, seasickness. For the practical part, depending on the weather, sailing outings on the Grevelingenmeer are planned.

  • Oct 20 2026 Sea and coastal plus licence (LU) The Permis Mer licence (issued by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade) is the only mandatory licence authorizing the operation of a pleasure craft under the Luxembourg flag. It permits the operation of boats and pleasure vessels flying the Luxembourg maritime flag in sea waters without any area limitations (coastal and offshore navigation). The course content focuses primarily on behaviour on the water (rules of the road and steering, navigation within buoyage systems, identifying types of vessels and their courses by day and night), as well as providing in-depth knowledge of coastal navigation and meteorology. The CÔTIER PLUS licence authorizes its holder to operate a pleasure craft of up to 20 metres in length in sea waters up to six nautical miles from the coast. The language of instruction is Luxembourgish. The courses will take place at the Lycée de Garçons, 41A, avenue Victor Hugo, L-1750 Luxembourg. A course in English will be offered shortly.
