The GLCR club offers its members two training pathways:
- The first pathway is organized under the auspices of the FLV (Luxembourg Sailing Federation) in the form of modules, with the objective of improving sailing knowledge. These training courses are validated by certificates and attest to the performance level of the crew member or skipper. The VHF radio module is organized in cooperation with the ILR (Luxembourg Institute of Regulation).
- The second training pathway, under the authority of the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade, leads to the sea and coastal plus licence, the only licence officially recognized for operating a pleasure craft under the Luxembourg flag. This training serves as a basis for further developing skills within the FLV Sailing Federation’s Certificate B and C training programmes.
