From 08.08.2026 17:00:00 until 15.08.2026 09:00:00At Stockholms Skärgård Categories: TrainingAventures nordiques au « Stockholms Skärgård » Le stage découverte 2026 du GLCR nous mènera au Nord, en Scandinavie, en Suède, plus précisément dans l’archipel de Stockholm. Une aventure inédite pour la plupart des marins luxembourgeois, sur un terrain inconnu, qui posera des défis bien différents de ce que nous connaissons en Méditerranée, en Mer du Nord ou à la côte Atlantique. Il nous attend un petit coin de paradis avec une nature splendide, un plan d’eau avec quelque 30.000 îles, îlots et récifs et des traditions marines nordiques bien particulières. Un bassin de navigation assez complexe, recommandé pour les navigateurs avancés … Nous partirons de Gashaga Marina à proximité de la capitale Suédoise, aisément accessible en vols réguliers au départ de Luxembourg, l’occasion peut-être aussi de découvrir cette merveilleuse ville, la Venise du Nord, avec sa qualité de vie exceptionnelle. Notre route nous mènera à travers l’archipel qui s’étend sur 80 km à l’est de la ville, dans la mer baltique. - September 2026

University students (University class) will sail exclusively on race-cruiser type yachts, while secondary school students (High School class) will sail on cruising yachts, allowing crews to be introduced to the pleasures of sailing. Skippers and co-skippers may also be students, and the organisers particularly encourage any young sailor with the required qualifications and experience to take the lead of their crew by becoming skipper or co-skipper. Interested students will find the relevant information below. If they have not yet participated in these roles at Regatta.lu, they are invited to express their interest by email at regatta2026@glcr.lu. The two-class racing format will provide four full days of racing, with races counting towards the final overall ranking of the competition. This format will enhance the quality of the event and enable everyone—skippers, co-skippers and crew members alike—to further develop their sailing skills. -

Ports et baies magnifiques, plages splendides, multitudes d’iles, mouillages paisibles et villages pittoresques foisonnent. Les importantes marées et les conditions de navigation permettent aux marins expérimentés d’éprouver leurs compétences. La baie de Quiberon est une zone bien protégée où l’on peut naviguer presque toute l’année. Le Golfe du Morbihan, avec sa douzaine d’iles magnifiques – certaines habitées, d’autres non – est idéale pour caboter d’ile en ile. En navigant en Bretagne, vous vous imprégnerez de son histoire et de sa culture et profiterez de son climat tempéré, de ses paysages superbes et de ses plaisirs gastronomiques. -

The theoretical program covers the following topics: sailing yacht terminology; true wind, points of sail in relation to the wind, setting the sails, mooring; tacking, gybing, safety measures, and behavior in harbors; propulsion, stability, sail trim, anchoring; life on board, knots, seasickness. For the practical part, depending on the weather, sailing outings on the Grevelingenmeer are planned. -

From 03.10.2026 16:00:00 until 10.10.2026 09:00:00At Zadar Croatie Categories: TrainingLa flotte sera répartie en un groupe pour candidats PM ou A-Mer et en un groupe qui comprend les stagiaires Avancés-certificat B et les bateaux flottilles pour respecter la spécificité du programme de chacun. Aucune redevance pour le GLCR de la part des participants des bateaux flottilles, par contre l'organisateur ne sait accepter que des skippers peu expérimentés pour les quelques places de skipper flottille. Les stagiaires Permis Mer, Côtier plus, A-Mer ou Avancés-certificat B peuvent s'inscrire en choisissant une demi-cabine pour le prix de 750 € ou bien une cabine pour le prix de 1250 €. Si le choix se porte pour une demi-cabine n'hésitez pas à communiquer via mail au responsable du stage avec qui vous souhaitiez partager votre cabine. -
From 20.10.2026 18:30:00 until 20.10.2026 21:00:00The Permis Mer licence (issued by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade) is the only mandatory licence authorizing the operation of a pleasure craft under the Luxembourg flag. It permits the operation of boats and pleasure vessels flying the Luxembourg maritime flag in sea waters without any area limitations (coastal and offshore navigation). The course content focuses primarily on behaviour on the water (rules of the road and steering, navigation within buoyage systems, identifying types of vessels and their courses by day and night), as well as providing in-depth knowledge of coastal navigation and meteorology. The CÔTIER PLUS licence authorizes its holder to operate a pleasure craft of up to 20 metres in length in sea waters up to six nautical miles from the coast. The language of instruction is Luxembourgish. The courses will take place at the Lycée de Garçons, 41A, avenue Victor Hugo, L-1750 Luxembourg. A course in English will be offered shortly. - November 2026
